چکیده
Alcohol-induced liver injury poses a significant threat to human health. Probiotics have been proven prevent and treat alcohol-induced injury. In this study, the preventive effect of Bifidobacterium lactis TY-S01 on in mice was investigated. pretreatment effectively protected against by preserving levels alanine aminotransferase, aspartate alkaline phosphatase, triglyceride high-density lipoprotein-cholesterol serum maintaining inflammatory cytokines tumor necrosis factor-α, interleukin-6 interleukin-1β tissue. Additionally, could maintain endotoxin serum, mRNA expression zonula occluden-1, occludin, claudin-1 claudin-3 gut, gut microbiota dysbiosis with alcoholic Spearman's correlation analysis revealed that there clear among indicators, microbiota. conclusion, attenuates protecting integrity intestinal barrier balance

Gut microbiota protects against gastrointestinal tumorigenesis caused by epithelial injury.
Inflammation is a critical player in the development of both colitis-associated and sporadic colon cancers. Several studies suggest that the microbiota contribute to inflammation and tumorigenesis; however, studies to understand the role of the microbiota in colon tumor development in germ-free (GF) mice are limited. We therefore studied the effects of the microbiota on the development of infla...

Growing evidence supports the efficacy of many probiotic strains in the management of gastrointestinal disorders associated with deregulated intestinal barrier function and/or structure. In particular, bifidobacteria have been studied for their efficacy to both prevent and treat a broad spectrum of animal and/or human gut disorders. The aim of the current work was thus to evaluate effects on in...
متن کاملSodium butyrate protects the intestinal barrier function in peritonitic mice.
OBJECTIVE Peritonitis is a commonly seen disease with high morbidity and mortality. It is prevalently considered that the impaired intestinal barrier during peritonitis is the access point of gut microbes into the blood system, and acts as the engine of the following systemic infection. In our previous study, we found that Sodium Butyrate (NaB) was protective on intestinal barrier function. In ...

متن کاملNon-alcoholic fatty liver and the gut microbiota
BACKGROUND Non-alcoholic fatty liver (NAFLD) is a common, multi-factorial, and poorly understood liver disease whose incidence is globally rising. NAFLD is generally asymptomatic and associated with other manifestations of the metabolic syndrome. Yet, up to 25% of NAFLD patients develop a progressive inflammatory liver disease termed non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) that may progress toward...
